“ Very quirky eatery, lovely warm atmosphere. We went to eat and had a tapas Tuesday. Very reasonably priced. Located on a entertainment lot with cinema and bowling close by. Also not far from hotels. ”

Soo much choice for her which is rare in a lot of restaurants. A lovely warm welcome by the same lady manager as last time. Was amazing with my 19 year old and her requirements. She said she personally would take the order and bring the food over. It arrived with a little allergy flag in it too! The other food we had was also exceptional! Original review below. ****Our first visit here today and we loved it! A lovely warm welcome from both of the staff as we arrived at 9am for breakfast. The place was empty but people soon started to arrive. Lovely atmosphere, very tasty food. I loved the decor. Lots to look at all over the restaurant. Definitely caters well for children. Lots of toys, offered a colouring sheet too! My daughter wanted the pancakes but it came with banana which she's not keen on. The lady offered to swap it for syrup which my daughter loved! We will definitely be returning with my older daughter too. She found out very recently that she's not able to eat gluten (Ceoliac Disease). Sent her the amazing gluten free menu whilst we were there and she's super happy she has a full menu to decide from! Just a lovely touch that places do cater for the gluten free for medical reasons! Cannot wait to return with hubby and GF daughter to show how impressed we were with the restaurant, the service and most importantly the food! A HUGE thank you to all involved in our visit today. “ This is my second visit to a Cafe Lounges venue and they are great. The design and ambience are so unique and stunning (pictures confirm this). The service is great. Not only are staff nice and polite but they ask important questions about allergies and such. Fantastic place to eat and drink and in a perfect location to make a day or night of it up Vangard with Cinema, Bowling, Golf and football stadium all in the same place. ”
“ I didn't know how many Lounges there are now. They started in Bristol in 2002 and must be doing well to have venues as far apart as Abergavenny and York. Today we are in York near the Monks Cross Park and Ride - having brunch before going to see the latest Mission Impossible. The food is excellent as is the coffee. It is quiet at the moment - Thursday morning - with just a few customers - but it is very pleasant with a mix of tables and armchairs. The decor fits the brand. It is all level access with parking close by. ”

Ordering at the bar is straightforward and we haven't had to wait too long, even when busy. Staff are always friendly and helpful. They have a good Gluten Free menu too. ”
